2012 Accreditation Standards Now Available to Download

Written by Doug Lance on Jan 23, 2012

The 2012 edition of the Accreditation Standards are now available to download.  http://staff.teenchallengeusa.com/file_share/view/27  You will note a few changes.  The one change you’ll notice right off is the two-column format is not being used.  That change eliminated seven pages from the standards which now number 32.  When a standard requires further explanation, a text box has been provided to the right or as a foot note following the standard.  A few standards had some of the sub-points under them combined to eliminate duplication.   Next to each standard where sub-points were merged, a text box with red text was added to explain the change.  That text box will be dropped in 2013.   To better help a center prepare for their onsite review, the Onsite Review Check list provided in the back was improved based on feedback from the field.   If there are any questions or comments about the standards, please don’t hesitate to email me with them at dougl@teenchallengeusa.com
