We’re very excited about finally gaining traction on this concept that began over 4 years ago.
Most of the major functionality has been fleshed out, and the initial modules are all being tested. While there will be a minimum amount of general Center and Staff information tracking, the primary focus of the initial phase of development has been around students — which we divide into 3 groups: Intake (applicants), Overview (active students), Aftercare (former students).
Active student information has been further divided into 4 major categories: Group Studies classes, Personal Studies contracts, Discipline records and Journal entries (a.k.a. Chronologicals).
To put it simply, everything we plan to launch with can be categorized like this:

- Discharge Report

Please keep in mind that this is only the beginning; we will be continuing development and support of this system indefinitely.
In fact, we’re already in the brainstorming/planning stages of future modules. Here are just some of the ideas …
Notifications: a basic “inbox” – send/receive quick messages with other staff
Follow-up: an extension of Aftercare – reminders and correspondence/outcome tracking
Contract Library: an extension of Personal Studies – save/share your contracts with other centers
Watchlist: a simplified student interface – detailed information about only the students you select
Phases: a simplified student interface – view students by their level of advancement through the program
Reports: view graphs and summary reports, a kind of 10,000′ view of your center’s activity
Dashboard: view summaries of what’s important to me: overdue GS work? pending Discipline? incomplete intake apps?
