Rev. Snow Peabody

The Teen Challenge National Board of Directors elected Rev. Snow Peabody as the Washington, D.C. liaison in January, 2010. Snow will be replacing Dennis Griffith, who went to be with the Lord in October, 2009. Snow will serve Teen Challenge as their national representative and will continue his duties in Arizona as Executive State Director.

Rev. Peabody is working with Henry Lozano, former Deputy Assistant to President Bush and Director of USA Freedom Corps and a Teen Challenge graduate, making contact with government leaders.

“It is an honor,” Peabody stated, “to represent over 243 Teen Challenge centers nationally to the White House, United States Congress, and government agencies that regularly deal with substance abuse issues facing America.” He went on to say, “With Teen Challenge USA’s 7,348 bed spaces and having one of the highest cure rates in the nation, our faith-based solution to the drug problem is a tremendous witness to our government leaders.”

On behalf of Teen Challenge nationally and locally, Rev. Peabody has received commendations from Presidents George W. Bush, Ronald Reagan, George Bush, Sr., Vice President Dan Quayle and several of Arizona’s governors.

Snow began working for Teen Challenge to help people struggling with drug and alcohol addiction as a volunteer while a student at the University of Arizona. He has served as the Executive State Director of Teen Challenge of Arizona for 34 years. From 1987 – 1991 Rev. Peabody was also the National Director for Teen Challenge USA.

In addition to his responsibilities with Teen Challenge of Arizona, Snow Peabody currently serves on the National Religious Broadcasters Association President’s Council, the National Recovery Monthly Planning Partner Council, the Arizona National Day of Prayer Board of Directors, and the National Teen Challenge Board of Directors.

Snow and his wife Ladelle, who is the State Music Director for Teen Challenge of Arizona, have three grown children.

I believe Teen Challenge is a GREAT program, as long as JESUS is the CENTER, and the HOLY SPIRIT is the power that set’s people free !

I am glad for Mr. Snow Peabody to represent this ministry, I hope that he will be a great testimony in D.C.

I also would like to encourage Teen Challenge, to publicly post, on ONE national website, when there are open staff positions available, so that more people can get involved. Blessings !!! Peter: KnownBefore@gmail.com
